Linda McDonald M.A., A.A.P.C.H. |
Cecil County, MD homeopathic consultant Linda McDonald, MA received her Master's degree in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Delaware in 1987, with specific training in neurophysiology. Her work experience includes research in neuropharmacology at AstraZeneca in Wilmington, DE and at the U.S Army Medical Research Institute in Edgewood, MD. Linda became interested in homeopathy, natural health care, and natural medicine in the 1980's when several family members were faced with chronic illness that was resistant to treatment by traditional medical approaches. Following the birth of her son in 1992, Linda found use of homeopathy to be effective and strengthening for all the common childhood complaints. Using homeopathy in the family became the norm, with knowledge gained initially by studying with the Northern Delaware Homeopathy Study Group, from 1992 onward. |
Realizing what a powerful tool homeopathy is, Linda began professional study of homeopathy in 1996. Since then, she has completed study with the New England School of Homeopathy, with Ananda Zaren of California, and with the Allen Academy of Homeopathy in Wilmington, DE. Linda furthers her knowledge of homeopathy by regularly participating in advanced seminars.
In 1999, Linda completed training in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. She has found that combining Homeopathy with CranioSacral TherapyŽ encourages a positive shift towards balance and well-being.
